LAMA Medical’s journey began with a bold vision to revolutionize Egypt’s dental landscape. Over the past 14 years, we have emerged as a leading supplier of advanced dental solutions and clinical education, setting new standards across Egypt and the Middle East. Founded in Cairo near the iconic Pyramids of Giza, LAMA Medical was born out of the shared vision of two passionate dentists, Dr. Omar Darwish and Dr. Alaa Samy. They saw an opportunity to provide Egypt’s dental professionals with advanced, high-quality, and affordable dental solutions. Their goal was clear: to make a lasting impact on the industry by supplying dentists with cutting-edge technology that would elevate their practice and patient care.
We secured the distribution rights for the renowned OsteoSeal Implant System, a reliable and efficient solution for dental implant procedures.
By 2014, our team grew to 10 members, and with this expansion, we saw a significant increase in sales and market recognition. Our commitment to excellence resonated with the dental community, driving our growth.
We became the exclusive distributor of Chaorum, a South Korean dental implant technology leader, renowned for high-quality and innovative implant systems and orthodontic products.
Between 2011 and 2016, despite the region’s geopolitical challenges, we remained resilient and emerged stronger. In 2016, we made a game-changing move by assuming distribution rights for supplying and marketing the innovative dental products of Neobiotech, one of the world’s leading companies in implant dentistry. Today, Neobiotech is the best-selling implant brand in Egypt, a testament to the success of this strategic partnership.
In 2017, LAMA Medical proudly became the exclusive agent for COLTENE, a global leader in dental consumables and small dental equipment. This was a major milestone, cementing our position as a trusted supplier of world-class dental solutions.
The following year, we strengthened our portfolio by becoming the exclusive distributor for Hiossen, a subsidiary of Osstem. With Hiossen’s advanced dental implants and technology, we were able to offer even more premium solutions to dentists across the region.
We established a subsidiary company, INNOVOCARE, to take on the responsibility of supplying dental clinics with their equipment requirements. · LAMA Medical expanded our reach across Egypt by opening a new branch in Mansoura.
Amid the global challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, LAMA Medical seized the opportunity to grow. We secured exclusive distribution rights for UNIVET, a global leader in magnifying surgical loupes. · This partnership, coupled with the opening of our Alexandria and Assiut branches, underscored our company’s resilience and adaptability during challenging times.
We achieved a significant landmark by inaugurating the LAMA Medical Continuous Education Center. This initiative allows us to provide innovative educational courses, workshops, and seminars in dental implantology, and ergonomic practice, furthering our mission to support professional development within the dental community. · We also expanded our presence with the opening of our Hurghada branch.
We launched our Dental Lab to empower dentists with custom dental prosthetics and restorations, enhancing patient oral health and aesthetics.
We became the first and only legal manufacturer of surgical and dental loupes in the Middle East by launching our new brand, MACTO Loupes ─ which is designed in JAPAN, manufactured in the United Arab Emirates, and distributed across the Middle East to reflect a blend of exquisite design and precise clarity.
